Fatherhood and Motherhood
Hola amigos its Jacob again here to share with all of
you guys what I have learned from articles. Now I want to share with you all
today is about fathers and mothers. Now I am going to bring up an article that
brings up how detrimental it is when a father is not in the home. Now I will put
the link(s) in the bottom of the post if you want to check out for yourself. The
first that I want to talk about is titled “A key commonality in School shooters
The left Refuses to address”. Now I don’t want to get political in this post I
just think that this article will really hit home the things that affects kids.
In this article they say that there is a common thing between almost all school
shooters. That most grow up or are in a fatherless home. According to the article
there is a correlation between children without a father and the likelihood that
they will be violent. Not only that but those kids born in those circumstances have
a twice likelihood of committing suicide. Now I don’t know how some of you see
the world depict of fathers. But something that I see is that men are seen as
not good role models in media. Now I know there are media and people that say
good things about fathers. But I think when the world talks about the roles of
father and mother. The father for the most part is seen as not needed or irrelevant.
This is not okay because we know that if taught correct principles then they
can become a force for good. Even the article tells us that masculinity if
taught correctly how to use it. Will be a most productive force in the world. Its
like nuclear power. It can be used for destructive power. Or it could be used
to power up things. Now I just used that analogy to help see the principle of
teaching how to do something the right way. I’m sure you guys have seen with
two good role models in the home. The more likely that the kids will be a productive
person in society. Another thing that I want to touch on is motherhood. Now I read
another article that talks about this. The article is called “does a full-time
homemaker swap her mind for a mop”. Now he goes to describe to say some people
will say that a modern woman choosing to be married and raise kids. That the
women become suppressed because the world does not see the importance of motherhood.
I think something that the world gets wrong is that if you aren’t working then you
aren’t doing important things. For women if you aren’t working then you are not
being a productive member of society or that women could be more productive. In
this article they tell of how even though raising kids isn’t going to increase
your intelligence. You can find other ways to do those things. Now I am going
to share personally that I have a mother who has worked most of the time when I
was growing up. I was raised by my aunts for the most part. Now when my mom
talks about family things. She said that she would have loved to have been a stay-at-home
mom. Now I understand that there are circumstances that isn’t ideal. Like single
mothers they need to be able to provide so they must work. But for my mom who
would have loved to leave the working to my father to provide for the family. I
think a lot of things would have been different if my mom was the one to raise us.
I don’t know how that would have turned out. Now I think it would have been
good for my younger brothers. Well, I’ll end it there and trust that you
learned something new from this.
